The subscription price is the subscription price. There is no per-seat fee, no implementation fee, no dispatcher fee, no onboarding fee, no storage fee, no SMS-per-message fee. The only extra money changes hands when you actually take a payment through the platform — and even then, only two line items. We list them below because we would rather you saw them now than on an invoice in 60 days.

Our cut on payments that move through the platform. That is how we keep the subscription price below $100 on the plan most shops pick. Cash, check, and off-platform payments you log manually have zero platform fee — we never charge for bookkeeping.

The questions
every shop owner asks.

Is there really no annual contract?

No annual contract. Month-to-month. Cancel any time from inside your account settings — you own your data, you export anything you have built, you stop getting charged at the end of the current billing period. We believe if the product is working, you will stay. If it is not working, you should not be locked in.

What is the 0.5% platform fee on payments?

When a customer pays you through TradeFix via Stripe, Stripe takes their standard processing fee (2.9% + 30¢ for cards, 0.8% capped for ACH), and TradeFix takes an additional 0.5% as the platform fee — that is how we can afford to keep subscription pricing low. The fee is only on payments actually processed through the platform. Cash, check, and off-platform payments are free to log.

Is there an implementation or onboarding fee?

Zero. Sign up, go through the 30-minute setup wizard, import your pricebook, add your techs, dispatch your first job. ServiceTitan will charge a $5,000+ implementation fee and assign you an onboarding rep. We do not. If you get stuck, we have documentation, email support, and on the Team and Scale plans, priority chat support.

What counts as a "tech" for the plan limit?

A tech is a user with a technician role on your account — someone who appears on the dispatch board, takes jobs, and uses the mobile app. Office staff (dispatchers, owners, admins, bookkeepers) do not count against the tech limit on any plan. So on the Growth plan ($99/mo, up to 5 techs), you can have 5 techs plus as many dispatchers and office users as you need.

Can I upgrade or downgrade between plans mid-month?

Yes. Plan changes take effect immediately. If you upgrade, we pro-rate the difference on the current billing cycle and add it to next month. If you downgrade, we credit the difference against next month. No form to fill out, no sales call, no "are you sure you want to leave" funnel — it is a toggle in settings.

What happens to my data if I cancel?

You own your data. On cancellation we give you 30 days of read-only access to export every table — customers, jobs, estimates, invoices, pricebook, equipment, memberships — as CSV. After 30 days, the data is archived for 90 days in cold storage in case you want to come back, then permanently deleted per our retention policy. We never sell or share your tenant data with third parties.

Are Stripe processing fees on top of the 0.5%?

Yes — Stripe charges the card network fees directly (2.9% + 30¢ for domestic card, ~1% for international, 0.8% capped at $5 for ACH). TradeFix adds 0.5% on top. So a $1,000 invoice paid by card costs: Stripe $29.30 + TradeFix $5.00 = $34.30 total, leaving you $965.70. An ACH-paid $1,000 invoice costs: Stripe ~$5.00 + TradeFix $5.00 = ~$10.00 total. ACH is the recommended method for any invoice over $500.

Is the mobile app included in every plan?

Yes — the iOS and Android tech mobile app is included on every plan, from Solo to Scale. Every tech on your account gets a login. GPS beacon, photo capture, e-signature, on-site payment, and offline mode are standard. There is no per-user or per-device fee.

Do you offer discounts for paying annually?

Yes. Pay annually upfront and get 2 months free on any plan — so Solo annual is $490 (vs $588 if paid monthly), Growth is $990, Team is $1,490, Scale is $2,490. No lock-in — if you cancel mid-year you get a pro-rated refund for the unused full months. We prefer month-to-month for new shops, but the annual discount is there if you want it.

What is NOT included that I might need?

Things TradeFix does not do (yet): dedicated accounting (use QuickBooks — we sync), dedicated payroll (we export hours per tech, you run payroll wherever), inventory warehouse management for 100+ SKU operations (our inventory is truck-level, not full WMS), true project management with RFIs and submittals for commercial GC work, and AI-driven scheduling (on the Phase 3 roadmap). If you need any of those at enterprise depth, you may outgrow us — we will tell you that honestly rather than overpromise.
